We would like to share an important update with our customers, partners, and industry friends worldwide regarding our planned participation in Dubai WoodShow 2026.
After careful evaluation and internal discussions, Hong Kong Yueyou Wood (YYW Timber) has decided to cancel our participation in Dubai WoodShow 2026, originally scheduled to take place in Dubai, UAE.
This decision was not made lightly.
Over the past several months, our team invested considerable time and resources preparing for the exhibition. Booth planning, timber sample selection, promotional materials, logistics arrangements, and customer meeting schedules had all been organized in advance. We were genuinely looking forward to meeting visitors at Booth C-09B and showcasing our range of African hardwood products.
The exhibition was expected to provide an opportunity to introduce products including:
- Okoume Timber
- Sapelli (Sapele)
- Iroko Timber
- Padouk Timber
- Zebrano Timber
- Wenge Timber
- Movingui Timber
- Azobe Timber
- Bubinga Timber
- Khaya (African Mahogany)
and other African hardwood species.
However, in recent weeks, our management team closely monitored the evolving situation affecting regional business travel and exhibition participation. Through discussions with customers, suppliers, logistics partners, and industry contacts across multiple markets, we learned that a significant number of companies and planned visitors had adjusted, postponed, or cancelled their travel arrangements.
After conducting a comprehensive review of these developments, together with other factors beyond our control, we concluded that withdrawing from this year’s exhibition would be the most responsible decision for our company and partners.
Although YYW Timber will not be attending Dubai WoodShow 2026, our commitment to serving customers remains unchanged.
We continue to support customers worldwide with African hardwood sourcing, export coordination, quality control, and international timber supply solutions. Our team remains fully operational and available to assist clients with ongoing projects and future procurement requirements.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all customers and partners who had planned to visit our booth. We deeply regret any inconvenience this change may cause and thank everyone for their understanding and continued support.
